Hanukkah Flavors in Bonbon Form

Food is intrinsically woven into our celebrations and holidays. In an homage to Hanukkah, we set out to reimagine quintessential Jewish foods and ingredients. The rich fried flavor of sufganiyah re-envisioned in a bonbon with white chocolate ganache sandwiching a yielding layer of raspberry pâte de fruit. Coconut macaroon in bonbon form, with a lush ganache of coconut three ways — puréed coconut, coconut milk, and shredded coconut. Lekach, recreated in chocolate, the cocoa flavor melding seamlessly with the honey and spice of this classic cake. Rugelach, reimagined as a bonbon filled with walnuts, prunes, and raisins. Olive Oil and Rosemary bonbon, adorned with a hand-pressed menorah seal to honor the miraculous oil of Hanukkah.
