L.A. Burdick's annual Oktoberfest event is always a huge success! The celebration offers a traditional German menu paired with German beer and wine. We also feature live music, special cakes and pastries, even an annual soccerfest - Team USA vs Team Deutschland. Plan a visit to Walpole, NH next year when fall colors abound and join in the festivities!
From Bean to Bonbon
Sepp Schoenbaechler of the Felchlin Chocolate Company in Schwyz, Switzerland joined us for a discussion and demonstration of "what makes a good chocolate good and a great chocolate great.". Single source chocolates, both bars and drinks, were offered for tasting. Larry Burdick also presented some of the cocoa farmers' economic concerns and the challenges for the next generation.
