1/3 c whipping cream & 8 ounces of shaved chocolate
3 tablespoons of Grand Marnier (optional)
Bring whipping cream to simmer in heavy saucepan. Reduce heat to low and add shaved chocolate and 1 tbs Grand Marnier. Whisk until smooth. Add additional liqueur and transfer to fondue bowl. Serve with fresh fruit, sponge cake pieces and lady fingers.
Place on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Prepare chocolate according to directions in a separate saucepan. Pour melted chocolate into the fondue pot and place over the rechaud base. Place a tea light into the base and light. To thin chocolate add milk or cream a spoonful at time. If chocolate level reaches 1/4" extinguish flame as pot may break. Cool pot before washing in warm, soapy water.
