2 Cups water
1 Bay Leaf
1/2 Cup grated Cocoa Tea Cake
1 Cup milk (evaporated, powdered or low fat)
Sugar to taste
Simmer water with cinnamon and bay leaf. Add grated Cocoa Tea Cake and nutmeg then simmer for another 10 minutes. Add milk and sweeten to taste.
On the Caribbean islands people often use evaporated milk for reasons of convenience and non-spoilage. Try it both ways to determine your preference.
