Cocoa Tea Balls

In Grenada and most of the Caribbean islands, cocoa tea is the most popular drink for breakfast and mid-afternoon. Islanders even say it contributes to their good health. We are happy to introduce this healthy, natural and unprocessed beverage to our customers. The base of the drink is cocoa that has been roasted, ground into a paste and then mixed with spices like nutmeg, bay leaf, citrus peel, pepper, cinnamon and often clove. Cocoa tea balls complement our pastries, and can be grated over hot chocolate as a garnish.

Made without preservatives, extracts or essences, L.A. Burdick bonbons combine traditional European chocolatiering techniques and thoughtfulness with American creativity and flair. Their miniature size provides an ideal portion to enjoy a complex intense chocolate flavor.


Our bonbons are fresh, they should be stored in a cool, dry place and served at room temperature. We suggest that you eat them within ten days of delivery.

L.A. Burdick Chocolate tries to minimize shipping costs for our customers. We do not profit from shipping charges. Rates are based on the total size and weight of product(s) being shipped.


How and When We Ship
Orders received prior to 4:00pm EST can be shipped the same day unless a specific future delivery date has been requested. Orders received after 4:00pm EST or during the weekend or on a holiday will be processed on the next business day. We do not ship over the weekend, therefore selecting Friday as a ship date will produce a Saturday Delivery shipping option (A $10 Saturday Delivery surcharge does apply for this service). Please note that when shipping to a physical address, an accurate street address complete with suite or apartment number and/or business names is required. A phone number is also required to ensure proper delivery.


Additional Information & Tips
Shipping overnight is always recommended when product may be compromised due to weather and location.
