Normal holiday traffic, combined with winter storms will cause unavoidable delays with UPS service in ZIP codes all across the country. Due to the sequence of major storms in New England, UPS is experiencing delays in their delivery schedule. As of February 5th 2015, there are predictions for another long duration storm next week that may bring an additional 1-2 feet of snow to our area. This is going to affect UPS deliveries across the country, not just here in New England. Please EXPECT delays! We regret that we cannot offer refunds for weather related delays, flight delays or mechanical issues that UPS experiences.
UPS Weather Updates
We understand your concerns about the cost of shipping today. Our first priority is our commitment to our customers.
Big box warehouse companies offer "free shipping", in part because they stockpile huge inventories and have buried the real cost of shipping in the pricing structure of their products.
Our luxury, preservative-free product is handcrafted and shipped fresh daily. Our commitment to our customers' receiving fresh chocolate means that we do not have the option to warehouse product for 5-7 days. We ship using only overnight or two-day methods, with ice packs depending on destination and weather concerns.
We value transparency in all of our relationships and price our chocolates fairly every day. Shipping charges reflect the cost charged to us by outside carriers. We pass along to our customers only what we are charged ourselves.
Selecting a SHIPPING DATE and METHOD
We use 1 or 2 day ship methods due to the perishable nature of our product.
During the checkout procedure, you will be asked when you want your order to SHIP (or leave our facility). Based on the date you select, you’ll see all relevant shipping options with the expected transit time for each choice. If you want to change it, simply click on the calendar to select another ship date. NOTE: Selecting a FRIDAY for a ship date will only provide a Saturday delivery date. A Saturday surcharge will be applied.
How and When We Ship
Same day shipping is available for orders received by 4pm EST. We do not ship over the weekend due to the perishable nature of our product.
Calendar Blackout Dates
Weekends, holidays and certain dates during high volume seasons may be "blacked out" on the calendar, and therefore unavailable when selecting a ship date at checkout.
Saturday delivery is available to most locations in the US. If not available for the destination address provided, we will notify you the day your order is placed. There is an additional Saturday delivery surcharge of $15.00 for this service.
Please note that when shipping to a physical address, an accurate street address, suite/apartment number, company name (if applicable), and phone number is required to ensure proper delivery.

Busy Holiday Seasons
Thanksgiving, Christmas/Hanukkah, Valentine's Day, Mothers Day and Easter are chocolate's busiest seasons. Please allow more time by selecting earlier ship dates. (Allowing plenty of time gives you more delivery options, too - ship earlier to save overnight delivery fees!)
Shipping via UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE
(Including Alaska and Hawaii) We do not ship via USPS. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii
We ship via UPS Next Day Air (UPS Priority) only to these destinations due to the perishable nature of the product. Because of the distance involved, please allow 2 days for actual delivery.
We ship via UPS Worldwide for destinations outside of the United States. Packages should arrive within 2-5 business days provided there are no delays in customs.
We ship to the following countries:
Canada, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, Norway, Poland, Spain, Switzerland
International packages are NOT guaranteed. When placing an order, please carefully check the recipient's address as it is difficult to correct an address once the package leaves the country. We are not always notified of undeliverable packages, and due to the expense we cannot reship due to customer error. We can provide price estimates for frequently shipped-to countries. Warm Temperature Conditions
We are committed to delivering fresh chocolate in good condition, and include icepacks (without charge) when shipping to warm climates.
What you can do:
We urge you to select an OVERNIGHT delivery option if the temperature at your destination city is more than 70°F. Please make every effort to notify the recipient that a package will be arriving. We cannot be responsible for items left unattended or not sent overnight in warm weather.

No Signature Required
All orders are shipped "no signature required" which means the package will be left at the destination address specified. We are not responsible if the package is lost or stolen after delivery.
Once your order is shipped we will send you an email with tracking details. You will then be able to track your package by going to the carrier's website.
